The team at Conroy New Zealand are proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the Hawkes Bay Wine Auction coming to Napier in November. The Auction is the oldest wine auction in New Zealand which raises money for Cranford Hospice.
On average the auction has raised in excess of $100,000 annually, with last year breaking all records surpassing $140,000. The auction is supported by Hawke’s Bay’s wine industry providing a wide range of top quality wine at no cost.
Cranford Hospice is a charity based in Hastings that provides palliative care free to the Hawkes Bay community. Their goal is to help people make the most of their time left on their final journey in life, to help them live every moment whether they are at home, in a rest home or come for a short stay at their eight-bed inpatient facility.
Cranford Hospice is made up of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and family support staff and operate as part of Presbyterian Support East Coast. While most of their funding comes from the Hawkes Bay District Health Board, they rely heavily on donations made by groups such as the Hawkes Bay Wine Auction.
Wine lots for the 2016 Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction are coming together nicely, including the following brands: Alpha Domus, Babich Wines, Clearview Estate Winery and Restaurant, Collaboration Wines Ltd., Coopers Creek, Craggy Range, Mission Estate Winery, Te Awa Single Estate, Trinity Hill.
