Preparing for new school year with help from Conroy Removals

Like Santa’s elves hard at work in the North Pole before Christmas, Furnware’s staff are also in their busiest season, working diligently at their Hawke’s Bay factory to manufacture school furniture in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Since the early 1990s, Furnware has been designing, manufacturing, and supplying innovative school furniture to over 4,000 schools in more than 30 countries worldwide. The company produces around 300 chairs and 300 desks each day to meet the growing demand for quality educational furniture.

In January Furnware will ship 1,100 cubic meters of furniture, which will be delivered by Conroy Removals. Conroy handles the logistics for Furnware’s New Zealand and Australian markets, ensuring that the furniture reaches schools directly.

Conroy Managing Director, David Conroy, says in the past year, Conroy delivered approximately 9,880 cubic meters of Furnware products to New Zealand customers and 6,100 cubic meters to Australian customers, with peak delivery months occurring in November, December, January and February.

Furnware Head of Service, Tracy Hulley, says the delivery experience is a vital part of Furnware’s customer journey and partnering with Conroy ensures their products arrive safely and on time.

“Conroy’s commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction aligns perfectly with the quality and care we put into everything we do, making them an integral part of our success story,” Tracy says.

About Furnware

Furnware’s mission is to design flexible, functional, and comfortable furniture that enhances student comfort and concentration in the classroom. The company conducts extensive research to ensure its products improve the learning experience. One of their most notable innovations is the Bodyfurn Sled Chair, developed after studying 20,000 students. The chair was designed to support proper posture and promote focus in students.

A Legacy of quality and growth

Founded in 1934 as craftsmen of high-quality wooden furniture, Furnware has evolved significantly over the years. In 1993, Hamish Whyte and his family took over the company, with a vision focused on quality and building strong relationships.

“When I purchased Furnware in the early nineties, I had a vision to help children around the world feel truly fulfilled and empowered throughout their school years. I strongly believe that inspiring learning spaces have a major role to play, and that’s where we put our energy and creativity,” Furnware owner/founder, Hamish Whyte, says.

Under his leadership, Furnware expanded its reach, forging lasting partnerships with schools and growing its sales force. The company’s deep understanding of the unique needs of schools has been key to its success.

Furnware is now part of Resero Group which is a family of respected furniture brands including Sebel and Regal. Through its collaboration with Conroy Removals, Furnware ensures that its high-quality, functional furniture reaches schools across the globe, helping to create optimal learning for world leaders of the future.
